Overview
Lazy Loading Images improves initial load time and user experience of image-heavy websites!
Today, ecommerce websites rely on visual content a lot, whether it’s a homepage, category page or any other page, like a search results page. There are a lot of images on each page. Almost more than 60% of the data on the pages are images. This thing makes lazy loading for images a very critical necessity of any ecommerce website to speed up image-heavy websites.
If you suspect your ecommerce website is a bit slow, then you probably haven’t considered lazy loading for images till now. Our lazy loading images add-on is programmed not to download images and show them until the user is at the viewpoint. This is useful because just a fraction of the audience views the entire page, so it’s not wise to download all images as the user lands on the page.
Your website can be one of the fastest ecommerce websites by using our Lazy Loading Images add-on. It can reduce the load time of all of the website pages by many seconds. It just shows pages that are in viewpoint and keeps loading more as the user scrolls down. Once set up, you will feel the page loading speed difference by comparing the before and after results.

They have 2 clear manuals in how to setup their service access, takes 20minutes if you are new to bigcommerce, after that hey apply the changes in under 1 week!
